Project:

Academy of Fine Arts and Design

Location:

Erjavčeva cesta, Ljubljana

Year:

2016

Client:

University in Ljubljana

Surface:

11.500 sqm

Project team:

Maša Mertelj, Matic Vrabič, studio Dans

University of Ljubljana launched a competition for a new Academy of Fine Arts and Design without having the resources to build the project. The beginning of construction is most likely to take place within 10 to 15 years. We propose an open plan that offers neutral space to all possible scenarios that could take place when school curriculum changes.
